First off my name is Kim Leonard. I am twenty-three years old and have been riding seriously for almost fourteen years. In December 2002 I graduated from Virginia Intermont College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Studies. My main concentration while attending the college was hunter/jumper riding. The hunter disipline has been my most studied disipline. However, I have also been trained in some Western disiplines such as trail, pleasure, and speed competitions. As with the Western studies I also branched out in the English disiplines as well. I apprenticed for three years under a dressage instructor from Massachusettes and spent four months working for a dressage farm in New York. Also in the English disiplines I studied saddleseat as it was the trained disipline of my first horse.
